Duel the Devs on Friday

October 18, 2007

We just put up another patch on the Public Test Server (PTS) with more PvP changes and other goodies before we push it all live. To celebrate, we want you to test out all these new changes by killing the devs. It's time to put Stephen and his merry band in their place, PvP-style. Check out this news item with all of the gory details.

Stephen at the Meet and Greet

September 24, 2007

Greg? Still MIA. At least we still have Stephen. If you had a chance to drop by the NCsoft fan meet and greet on September 22, perhaps you got a chance to talk to him before he got a little too plastered.

Missing in Action: Greg

September 14, 2007

Where is Greg anyway? I know all of you must be just sitting at the edge of your comfy chairs waiting for his GenCon adventures. I've given up hope. Oh, Greg isn't dead or anything, he's just been really busy. He did some volunteer work on an event for a product that rhymes with "Fabula Masa", then locked himself in his office for days, crying about the gulf of differences in marketing budgets. In the meanwhile, I'll be entertaining you with tales of... things... as time goes on.

Greg's Demise

September 6, 2007

I'm sure you've all been waiting breathlessly for Greg's adventures at Gencon and his makeshift bed. Well, as it turns out, so have I. Starting to get very worried about Greg and his inability to turn in his blog posts. Worse, it turns out he's been busy doing something for another game he's not even a part of! Shocking, I tell you.

GenCon Day 1C: Hooters

August 31, 2007

It’s 4PM and I’m starting to drag. Being awake before all of God’s other creations that morning had started to take its toll. We finally wrap up the show and head out for some dinner as a group. So, where in Indianapolis does our illustrious party decide to dine? Yup. Indy’s finest downtown dining experience: Hooters.

GenCon Day 1B: Memories...

August 30, 2007

Leaving the headaches of the hotel behind, we just get down to biz of helping run our GenCon booth. Albert and I roll in and the gang has done a great job—everything operational and running smoothly. More kudos to Karen for kickin’ booty on the planning side.

GenCon Day 1A: I'm going in, cover me!

August 29, 2007

Finally, Greg is sending in his blog entries for his trip to GenCon. Our valiant attempt at semi-live blogging a valiant but ill-conceived (apparently) failure, you'll have to settle for a few weeks late instead.

Tuesday's Update

August 28, 2007

Chunk #1 is being updated on our servers currently; right around noon they should be back up and you can start downloading. We're all very excited with all of the cool new features coming into DR, and the staff have all worked very hard on it. On the opposite end of the "working hard" spectrum, Greg survived his third convention and finally delivered his notes on GenCon. You do know you just went to PAX, right?

GenCon Day 0: Greg is late

August 23, 2007

Before getting slaughtered by this writer, Marketing Guy Greg went on the second of his globe-trotting convention adventures, this time hawking Dungeon Runners at GenCon in Indianapolis. While he's promised even more startling tales of hotel histrionics and personal ineptitude, he hasn't delivered any of it yet, and he's leaving for PAX tomorrow. I am so ashamed.
